Question: What is the number one factor that affects a person’s behavior?
Answer: The environment that they are in.
How would things turn out for you if you came to work every day inspired to do whatever is needed to help people?
How would you feel about having a job where you had the ability to take responsibility for your work, and were allowed to tell your boss what you intended to do, instead of always just asking for permission to do it?
Imagine that you worked in an environment build around compassion and encouragement. Would you feel safe enough to be brutally honest and open with your mistakes, so that we could help you learn, grow, and discover the best way proceed?
Why would you want to work for us?
Does your current employer believe that following the law is just the minimum standard of operations? Do they elevate themselves up to the highest standards of ethics and morals?
We believe that each person, deep inside their soul, wants to feel respected and important and wants to do the right thing. We make it our mission, to always treat each person well, even when they may not seem to deserve it, so that they could be encouraged to do the right thing.
There’s no secret that a business needs to make money to survive. The confusing part is why most businesses act as if making money is the only reason they exist.
We take a different approach. We want to hire people who are committed to taking great care of those around them. If a colleague needs help, then help. If a tenant has a problem, then take the effort to sort it out. If a property owner has questions, then let us help them find the answers.
We should leave no stone unturned in an effort to make things right. If in the end, that ends up hurting our bottom line, so be it. Let’s stand up and be accountable to those who rely on us.
